Who's running Graphene on their mobile? Probably going to wait til the Motorola partnership to hop on over. Thoughts on this vs. Google Pixels? Poast your thoughts.

all of my old phones have been non-Graphene capable, but I'm hoping to make the switch if/when my current (refurb Pixel) hits the wall

You can find a Pixel 9a for around $280 to $350 USD on EBay, and you might still be able to find them at some stores. I've been dailying one for almost a year now, and I have almost no gripes. There were some glitches at the start, but those went away when I flashed GrapheneOS.

i've been running GrapheneOS on my Pixel 7 for a couple years now and have loved every moment. my Pixel is starting to cark it so i'm trying to hold out until the Motorola device is released.

(please please please have a headphone jack. i'm so sick of carrying around an extra bloody cable)

i have been running grapheneos on a pixel 7 since 2023 and i never had a single issue which i couldn't solve. in my opinion there is no need to wait for the official motorola release

I've got a Pixel 8 w/ GOS and its been running fine for what I use it for (Phone, Messages, Browser, Banking, Email), I have profiles for running apps that need google play services, so my main profile just has FOSS apps. If the Motorola is cheaper than the Pixel and it can do all of the above, I'll probably go for it when it's time to change phones.

Sounds like the Pixel 11 is a downgrade from previous generations for a particular security feature. Looks like waiting for the Motorola collab or buying a previous gen Pixel is the way to go.

now i can't speak for the upcoming pixel but from what i know how you use your phone any "older" pixel will do just fine and i can assure, there is really no need to wait for the official release. grapheneos and in general pixel devices are the closest thing to what apple provides in terms of hardware and software.
